CBRE Atlanta: “Terminus”

CBRE was excited to partner with local artists to commission works for their sleek new Buckhead office. Several works focus on the history and culture of the city, but sculptor JP McChesney chose actual historic materials to create his sculpture feature in the formal lobby. Terminus is composed of metal railroad spikes scavenged from disused tracks around the Beltline, from the city’s heyday as a primary national railroad hub. It isn’t often a new artwork in a corporate space is made from real materials derived from the city’s industrial history.
